Plants I didn't think I'd love this much

I am not going to include anything from my most favorite plants in this list as it might be a bit obvious. Also, big plants are not going to be here because mostly we love big plants and they are very special to us. So this is a list of my favorites that I wasn't this into when I bought them and I got really excited about once they got home. Also, some obvious plants like a Monstera Alba are not going to be here as we all love the Alba, it is simply gorgeous.

Albuca Spiralis

Might be obvious for someone. I got two small kids and pot them together to have one bigger plant in the future. They were so tiny and fully straight that I couldn't resist. It looked funny but started curling really fast. It got thicker and started pulling new growth and each does so well that I can't believe it was small a white ago. I check it every other day and can't stop loving it.

Asparagus fern

I had a post about this cutie.

At first, I didn't get it at all. I had like three attempts before I got one for myself and completely fell in love. It is a tiny-tiny baby that is so nice to touch. It looks nothing like any other plant I have ever had and this is probably why I love it so much.

The biggest love usually comes unexpectedly.

Austrocylindropuntia subulata

This is the most ridiculous plant I have. At first, I saw it and thought about what kind of monster are you. It reminds me of Krumm if you remember this animated series.

I thought I would just repot and it sell it but when I brought it home I did fit so well into the place that I couldn't resist and decided to leave it. I am even not sure I want to propagate it as it would get shorter and I love that is it this tall. I had to repot it twice in a few weeks as the first container was a bit small and it couldn't balance well. So this cactus is my favorite beast.

Fern

My love to ferns come up recently. I had a look at some before but never wanted one for myself. I went to my local plant store to buy soil (yes, sure, she wanted to buy soil) and saw this beauty and I owned it in no time. It is new, about a week old so I haven't decided what it wants yet but I'll figure. So far it reminds me of my hairstyle when I do African curles :) Planning on getting a few more of course.

Syngonium

I should probably make a post about my Syngonium collection as I have quite a few. I had an Arrow too but I gave it to my mom and got a few different varieties instead. I don't know which one I love the most so I probably include all of them as I love something about each.

The Neon Pink is my first kid. I had it small and it now looks all gorgeous with those bright leaves but it is still small and I can't wait for it to grow. I got another one that is much taller but not as bushy.

The Dark Night Macrophilum has amazing leaves and looks nothing like a Syngonium we know.

The Panda is a new baby with amazing spots on the leaves and I actually never looked at the Panda until recently and I don't know why, it is amazing.

The Auritum is one of these plants you are not into until you have your hands on one. I got it recently and didn't understand at first, why it is this popular. But I know why. It has amazingly-shaped leaves and its green is one of the shades you immediately fall in love with.

Last but certainly not least is the Imperial White. I actually have a mix of three separate plants. I had one small leaf, then I bought two bigger leaves and then I got a bigger plant and decided to pot them together to have a full Imperial White. The best thing about this plant is that each new leaf is different and you never know what it would look like.
