The snake plant is one of these plants I didn't get at first. I didn't understand what people see in it compared to a calathea. But once I discovered there are so many beautiful varieties I found myself in a room full of snake plants and there are many to come.

Here's my Sansevieria Collection that includes a Masoniana, Diamond Flame, Laurenti (+compacta), and a Zeylanica, and what are my care tips for those.

How do I care for my Snake Plant collection?

I know most plant parents claim a Snake Plant has to be watered once a month or so but mine do better when I water them more often. The same with sunlight. Yes, a Sansevieria is a low-light tolerate plant but it would not grow as fast if you don't give it enough sunlight + the leaves would look sad and wrinkled.

I have two Zeylanica pots and you can see the bigger one looks different because I believe it stayed under low-light conditions and the second plant had more lighting. I'll probably repot the two in one pot to have a big plant. I got the big one with wrinkled leaves and after watering it a bit more often I see how better the leaves become.

The Cylindrica was a bit challenging to put together. I repotted it three times (the last after this video) and only after the last try it looks the cutest.

The Masoniana and Diamond Flame were bought with no roots and I just potted them into the soil 6 months back, no change so far but also didn't die which is good for both of them.

You can also see a little Layrenti Compacta that looks like a mini-version of the big Laurenti, it's really cute, and I love it.

Occasionally I also make them into a shower, I think they like it too.

So this is it about my care tips. Not much but to me, plants take it much better when doing what I described before.
