Ways to kill your Snake plant

The number one cause would be overwatering. You need to know these guys require very little water.

The low temperature that's another way to kill your snake plant. Low air temperature leads to leaf fall and then, accordingly, to death of the plant.

Propagating Snake plant

Sansevieria can be propagated by side shoots, dividing by the roots, and leafy cuttings.

The division of the rhizome is best done in the spring during the transplant of an overgrown bush. To do this, you need to remove the bush from the pot and with a very sharp tool divide its rhizome into several parts, while each of the divisions must have at least one growth point.

And then to pot each of those into individual pots. After such manipulations, put them in a place where it is always warm, and provide them with regular moderate watering.

The next popular and easy breeding method is leaf cuttings.

So, cut off the old sheet plate and divide it into pieces with a length of 40 to 50 mm. After they have slightly dried in the open air, they should be planted for rooting at an angle of 45 degrees in a container filled with sand. From above, the stem is covered with a lid, which can be used as a cut bottle or glass jar, and need to provide with systematic moderate watering through the pallet.

After 30–40 days, the stalk should give roots, and by this time young leaves will grow from new buds. After that, the cutting should be transplanted into a permanent pot filled with potting soil for an adult plant.

So there are many reasons why think Sansevieria are awesome house plants. The style and the aesthetic look are amazing too.
